17.11.2017 How to apply for a job in Germany

Learn the procedures of a job interview and gain an insight of what is required. We'll give you suggestions for your preparation for the job interviews and together with you we will develop a guideline for your personal presentation. Through the simulation of individual interview sequences we are going to train your skills of holding conversations. We'll approach typical questions and show you different methods that human resources management like to use to test you. The workshop will be held in English.

22.11.2017 Start up your career in Germany

During this seminar you will get first information on how to start up your career in Germany. Find out what skills you need and what to look out at the beginning of the study, if you will like to work while studying in Germany or later on after your graduation. Representatives of the International Relations Office (BTU) and the Career Center (BTU) are going to provide advices and present relevant offers of the BTU. Finally, an international BTU student is going to speak about his personal experience. The seminar is especially for new international BTU students. The seminar will be held in English.

01.12.2017 Fit für den Berufseinstieg: Der erste Tag im Unternehmen

 Fachkompetenz und Leistung sind wichtige Voraussetzungen, jedoch nicht immer ausschlaggebend für den Erfolg. Entscheidend ist ein überzeugendes Auftreten, Souveränität und ein gutes Image beim Weiterkommen im Beruf. In diesem Workshop werden die Tilnehmer rhetorisch und methodisch so trainiert, dass Sie den Zusammenhang zwischen ihrem Sprechen und der Wirkung auf ihre Zuhörer kennen.

Dieser ganztägige Workshop richtet sich an internationale Studierende, die sich für ein Praktikum oder einen Arbeitsplatz in Deutschland bewerben möchten und wissen möchten, was Arbeitgeber in Deutschland im Rahmen des Bewerbungsprozesses erwarten. Sie erfahren, wie Sie Ihre Jobsuche erfolgreich gestalten und wie Sie Ihre Bewerbungsunterlagen verfassen und optimieren können. Abschließend lernen Sie, wie Sie im Vorstellungsgespräch überzeugen können. Seminarsprache ist Deutsch.
