Matriculation ceremony: BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg invites all first-semester students, their families and friends to celebrate together with members of the university and representatives of the cities of Cottbus and Senftenberg. Admission is free.

The Neue Bühne Senftenberg and the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg are kicking off the new 2026/27 academic year at the Campus Senftenberg with an informative and entertaining programme. All students and Staff Members are warmly invited to join in the celebrations.

With a varied and exciting programme, BTU is once again helping to organise the Night of Creative Minds in Cottbus. This year’s theme is ‘Energy & Change’.

We present the findings of a research project on current challenges and changes in the social services sector and discuss them in a dialogue involving the social economy, academia, the public sector and politics.
