BTU members donate for Ukraine

We are deeply concerned about the ongoing war in Ukraine. We would like to call on all students and employees of our university to support the Ukrainian people on the ground and the refugees with donations. The donation campaign will run until May 27, 2022.

Many have already achieved great things here and continue to do so. We are proud of that!

As BTU, we also want to make a small contribution: We give away one of our specially printed BTU cloth bags - as seen in the photo - with the statement #MakeScienceNotWar for every donation amount of 20€ and more.

What to do for it? Donate the amount to the following account of Ukrainenetzwerk Cottbus: Account holder: Aufarbeitung Cottbus e.V. Sparkasse Spree-Neiße IBAN: DE23 1805 0000 0190 0641 45 BIC: WELADED1CBN Keyword: Ukrainehilfe BTU Subsequently, please contact the Communications & Marketing Staff Office (Josefine Kahle, social-media(at)b-tu.de) directly by e-mail and we will coordinate where the bag can be picked up in Cottbus or Senftenberg. Important: When making a bank transfer, be sure to use the keyword "Ukrainehilfe BTU" so that we can allocate the donation to the campaign. We are looking forward to many participants!

Conditions: The campaign will initially run until May 27, 2022. All donations over 20 EUR received by this date will be considered for a cloth bag. Unfortunately, shipping the bag is not possible for logistical reasons. A pick-up at the central campus in Cottbus or in Senftenberg will be ensured.
