Europe in the focus of the Pupil University

On Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., young people in grades 7 to 13 will gain insights into European structures and processes in an online lecture at the Pupil University of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU). They will learn about the opportunities that living in Europe brings.

European cooperation can be found in many areas of our everyday life. One great achievement is borderless travel within Europe - all without visas and money to exchange. It has never been easier to travel to other countries, to get to know the cultures of our neighbors and to feel like a European. Pupils and students in particular like to take advantage of this framework for stays abroad.

Why european identity formation is so important today, what influence it has on our personal and professional development, and where we can also find Europe in Cottbus and at the BTU, these questions will be explored in the current Pupil University lecture on european awareness in everyday life.

The speakers are Christin Handrek from the BTU's International Relations Office team and Janina Biell from the European University Alliance EUNICE, of which the BTU is a member.

Registrationsunder the e-mail address schueleruni(at)b-tu.de  requested. The link to the online lecture will be sent after registration.
