Dear Students
For the time being, all courses in the summer semester 2021 will be held online and will be combined with face-to-face teaching if possible.

Certificates
The certificates of our language centre are specific certificates of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, which contain content, duration and the grade the course participant achieved. Proof of attendance contains information on content and duration of the course. Currently no certfiicates can be issued or collected.
Course fees
External participants have to pay the following course fees:
- €78 for language courses with 2 hours per week (30 hours per semester)
- €156 for language courses with 4 hours per week (60 hours per semester).
The Language Center of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is a member of the AKS (Association of Language Centres), the only organisation in Germany that comprehensively represents foreign language education at universities and university colleges.
The Language Centre and the administrative sector VP L 3 at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg offer foreign study applicants, who do not have adequate German language abilities yet and would like to take up a full-time German-Language degree course at BTU, a one-year preparatory programme - a "Bridge to Studies".
