Auditing Student

Students enrolled at other universities may be granted admission to register for individual modules/courses at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg if the student capacity of those modules/courses permits. Thereby, study and examination achievements can be accomplished and credit points can be gained.

The regulations in the Enrolment Regulations of the BTU Cottbus apply to auditing students.

How do I acquire admission to be an auditing student?

The Application to register as an auditing student is to be submitted to Student Services on the Main Campus on time – no later than one month after the start of the lecture period (see the Schedule of Events). An application may only be submitted for one semester at a time. Please acquire approval from the person responsible for your participation in the modules/courses you would like to take, such as an instructor, because your application cannot be processed without this approval. Additionally, please attach a current certificate of enrolment from the main university at which you are enrolled.

Where can I learn about the academic offerings of the BTU’s Main Campus, including when and where courses take place?

All of the information you should need can be found in the Info Portal: Teaching.

Who provides certification of my study and examination achievements for the modules/courses I take?

You receive certification from a person responsible for a module/course, such as an instructor.
