Energy consumption in local rail passenger transport is primarily determined by frequent acceleration and deceleration. The BTU is therefore presenting developments of lighter vehicle components for local rail passenger transport at the International World's Leading Trade Fair for Transport Technology (InnoTrans) at the ExpoCenter City in Berlin from 20 to 23 September.
