I obtained my Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences and an M.A. in World Heritage Studies from the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus - Senftenberg, Germany. Prior to my Master and Doctoral studies, I obtained my B.A. from the University of Buea, Cameroon. Since my graduation in 2012 until 2018, I have been working as an Academic Staff (Akademischer Mitarbeiter) at the Department of Civil Law and Public Law with references to the Law of Europe and the Environment, BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg where I lectured master and bachelor courses such as “Advanced Studies of International Environmental Law”, “International Environmental Law”, “Environmental Governance in Developing Countries” and "Implementation of International Environmental Law in Sub-Saharan Africa". Apart of teaching, I have co-supervised many master and bachelor theses as well as study projects. I have also developed and successfully managed many funded projects. I am author of scientific papers and coeditor of three books. My research interests are in the areas of natural and cultural heritage management, forest conservation and management through regulatory and market-based instruments, forests and climate change, biodiversity conservation through legal instruments, international environmental law and policy, law and policy on renewable energy development and environmental governance. My professional goal is to enhance my knowledge, expertise and become one of the leading academics in a higher educational institution.
