Application for the summer semester 2023
The application phase for the summer semester 2023 starts for applicants with international university entrance qualifications (from 1 November 2022) and for applicants with German university entrance qualifications (from 1 December 2022).
In addition to 18 Master's programmes, applications are also possible for the two Bachelor's programmes Business Mathematics, B.Sc. and Digital Society, B.A. as well as the certificate programme Artistic Training for Instruments and Singing.
Guest students from Ukraine Language courses - a good preparation for studies
The BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg offers Ukrainians who have had to leave their home country opportunities to begin their studies, counselling and study preparation services, as well as to participate in the "BTU Guest Student Programme" or "BTU Pathway Programme". The first guest students from Ukraine have been learning German since July 2022. In addition, a DAAD-funded project of German partner universities, in which the BTU is also involved, supports Ukrainian universities in maintaining teaching and infrastructures in the digital field, especially in the field of urban development and for the reconstruction of Ukrainian cities.
The university condemns this aggression, which is contrary to international law, and is with the citizens of Ukraine with the greatest concern and solidarity. The BTU is committed with all its strength in science, teaching and university life to openness to the world, contentious discourse and respect for different traditions, cultures and basic ethical and moral values.
