The Alumni Conference “Sustainable Land Use” on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the study programme Environmental and Resource Management June 12th to 17th 2018

Twenty years ago, the study programme Environmental and Resource Management (ERM) at the former BTU Cottbus was established. The Bachelor's degree began, followed a year later by the Master's and PhD programs in 2002. The programme was funded by the DAAD pilot project "Auslandsorientierte Studiengänge" and is the only one of the 88 degree programs supported by the project, which welcomes many applicants from all over the world over the years.

We celebrated this as part of a DAAD-funded alumni conference that was held from 12th to 17th June 2018 at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. In addition to well-known speakers from various countries, many ERM alumni were also invited to report on their work or research areas. The scientific part of the conference from June 13th to June 15th consisted of scientific presentations and was followed by the festive part of the 20th anniversary of ERM. This included a networking and formal celebration, a cultural night and Cottbus Open. If you would like to look at the programme that we had for the conference please click here.

The conference was a huge success. Thank you so much to all those who helped make it happen, especially our sponsors.
