(2007-2014) Ph.D. Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Sciences, Brandenburg Technical University Cottbus, Environmental Resource Management ERM / Ph.D. programs; Dissertation Title: Spatial Analysis of Agricultural Policy and Land Use Land Cover Changes in Tartous Coastal Syria, the day of the oral exam is 05th February 2014 (final grade 1.6)

(1999-2002) Master's degree, geomatics and the assessment of natural resources (soil & land): § First year: University of Damascus in cooperation with International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas ICARDA, - Syria -Aleppo Department of Natural Resource Assessment; § Second year: as a Master's scholarship financed by the Italian Foreign Office, University of Florence-I.A.O Institute. Research case study was conducted in Larache City-Morocco in collaboration with the Ministry of Forests

(2001 - 2005) Head of GIS/RS research department at General Commission of scientific Agriculture research (GCSAR), an affiliated Research Institute to the Ministry of Agriculture, (GIS application on Soil, land cover, land use, Sustainability and many other environmental science based aspects, which is related to department's projects)

(1998 - 2001) Scientific Research Assistant, Ministry of Agricultural and Agrarian Reform MAAR -Soil Department (soil profile description, soil analysis, soil suitability and soil mapping by using Geographic Information System GIS)

(1997 - 1998) Scientific Research Assistant, Damascus University-Soil Science Department in Cooperation with Syrian Petroleum Company (Profile description, sampling, analysis and methods of remediation of contaminated soil with oil)

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE:

(2014-2016) Project Research Associate, German Ministry of Foreign affairs- German Archeology Institute DAI-Berlin, IT and Geo-Information Department.: GIS application and creation of a Geo Database and thematic maps for the projects.

(2013-2014) Scientific Research Assistant, at BTU Cottbus- ERM-Germany teaching of the following three Module (Sustainability Measurement, Strategic Environmental Assessment SEA, and Environmental Impact Assessment EIA Monitoring)
