José Angel Mercado Uribe was born in Mexico. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronic Engineering (2015), a Master’s Degree (2017) and a Doctoral Degree (2021) in Electrical Engineering – Automatic Control from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Cd. Mx., Mexico.

Currently, he is a Research Associate at the Brandenburg University of Technology, Cottbus, Germany.

His main research interests are Homogeneous Controllers and Observers Design, and Analyzing the Stability of Trajectories.
