2nd Interdisciplinary research colloquium for up and coming scientists 2007

Location: Oestrich-Winkel, Schloß Reichartshausen

For the second time, on July 16th, 2007, a cross-departmental colloquium for doctoral and post-doctoral students enrolled at the Institute for Industrial Service Management at the European Business School (EBS) and the ABWL, in particular associates from the Chair of Organization, Personnel Management and Corporate Leadership, was held at the BTU Cottbus. As the EBS students had come to Cottbus the previous year, this time the team from Cottbus took the trip to the Rheingau region of Germany. In six interesting seminars, current research projects were presented and discussed with a focus on methodological aspects. Three of these meetings were held by junior BTU researchers:
Dr. Birgit Verworn (BTU internal associate) presented her research into the effects of demographic changes on the innovative capacities of business ventures. Anke Zenker-Hoffmann (BTU external associate) spoke on sustainable planning and operative mechanisms in the field of climate preservation, and Daniel Giebel voiced his considerations on supply chain management in services.
