As a strategic contribution to promoting excellence and internationally experienced young researchers, BTU will establish a new junior research group in the Graduate Research School (GRS). The deadline for applications is 24 June 2022.

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) will establish in October 2022 the BTU-BAM Graduate School »Trustworthy Hydrogen«. You can apply for one of the seven PhD positions until 3 June 2022.

Internal call for proposals to promote Open Access publications

In March 2022, the next programme year of the Viadrina Mentoring and Coaching Programme for female, trans*, inter* and (other) non-binary doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers will be launched. The application deadline is January 31, 2022.

Dr. Sparsh Sharma investigates reduced-order modelling of sound generation from free beams using an image-based stochastic approach. He received a doctoral scholarship of the Graduate Research School (GRS) from 2016 to 2019.

Also in 2021, the BTU is looking for nominations for the best dissertation prize at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. The deadline is 19 November 2021.

The Summer School will be held from 13-17 September. The deadline for applications is 31 August 2021.

In 2022, the GRS will award up to four full PhD scholarships for 36 months and up to four short-term scholarships for six months to complete the PhD thesis. The call for applications ends on 28 September 2021.

The Postdoc Network Brandenburg once again offers open-topic individual fellowships for postdoctoral researchers interested in a research stay at one of Brandenburg's universities (6-24 months). Deadline for applications: 6 August 2021. Funding starting in November 2021.

This summer semester, the GRS is again offering various online workshops for doctoral students and postdocs.
