This research explores communities’ interaction with cultural heritage as a means to counterbalance violence that in some places has become part of the setting. Having been a colonised territory, Mexico is filled with a mixture of cultural practices that are in need of further studying in order to understand the relevance its identity, history, and memory holds within a community acquiring a link between heritage, wellbeing, and security

Short Bio:

I am an Art Historian focused on heritage preservation in Mexican cultural communities. I have worked on cataloguing art pieces in religious complexes for the matter of security of heritage protection and preservation. I graduated in 2019 in MA Heritage Conservation and Site Management with the thesis related to communities’ impact on the protection of tangible heritage. I would very much like to work on Academics after graduating.
