DAAD Scholarship-holders´ meeting at BTU
On June 14, 2014, the International Relations Office invited the universities DAAD scholarship holders to the climbing forest in Lübben in order to exchange ideas about the theme "Successful Graduate Connections" in an unconventional surrounding.
After arrival by train in Lübben, an imaginary world map with different countries of origin of the participants was created. Afterwards, the participants had to put together an astute city plan and hereafter find the way to the climbing forest. After some introductory games the following questions were worked out in groups during climbing:
- What should the university offer students so that they would later gladly keep in contact? What do you currently expect from BTU CS?
- What does the university have to do to motivate alumni to stay in contact with the university? What will you expect from the university later?
- What activities could we organise for the other students in our subjects to promote networking? (Keyword: social media, trigger virtual discussions, etc.)
After a detailed discussion and climbing, we went back to Cottbus by train.
