Moodle II - Advanced Training 26.09.2022

The learning management portal Moodle is a central tool for the digital enrichment of university teaching at the BTU. If you have already fundamentally integrated Moodle into your teaching (e.g. for the distribution of teaching materials), use this training to learn further functions and methods of and with Moodle.

DESCRIPTION

The learning management portal Moodle is a central tool for the digital enrichment of university teaching at the BTU. If you have already fundamentally integrated Moodle into your teaching (e.g. for the distribution of teaching materials), use this training to delve into some of the functions and methods of and with Moodle. Depending on the previous knowledge and wishes of the training group, individual questions can be clarified and approx. 4 of the following topics can be dealt with as a content block:

  • Group Management (create, administer, archive Learning Groups)
  • setting and assessing Tasks online
  • Create electronic intermediate Tests (no eExams)
  • individual Assessments incl. archiving of Results
  • Working with interactive Materials (brief overview of H5P)
  • Tools for organising Teaching (coordination, planner, booking, feedback)
  • Content Editor and Integration of Audio/Video in Moodle (design of course elements)
  • Innovations in Moodle 3.9

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • You will get to know new or extended application scenarios of the learning portal and will be able to use them in your teaching.
  • You will be able to use Moodle to organise your course more efficiently (groups, submissions, voting, interim tests).
  • You will learn the basics of how to make materials and courses more appealing (design, interaction, multimedia offers).
