innofab_ ideas contest awards visions
"With our innofab_ ideas contest, we want to show new paths in our region that first turn an idea into a project and later, at best, into a successful startup," says Dr. Markus Schwenke, contest and project coordinator of Innovation Hub 13 at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. "In this way, we link the strengths of university science and research with Brandenburg's business community, which is very interested in the smart ideas. This is demonstrated not least by the prominent list of prize donors."
All students, doctoral candidates, employees and also alumni of both universities (from graduation year 2017) are called upon to participate in the innofab_ ideas contest.
Interested parties (also as a team) can submit their research-based ideas, products or services with a regional connection online until May 16, 2022: www.innohub13.de/innofab.
The best ideas will be presented and awarded prizes at the 7th BTU Transfer Day, which will take place on June 14, 2022, at the Cottbus Central Campus under the motto "Structural Change Lusatia - Ideas, Concepts, Projects, Financing."
There are a total of four prizes to be won, combined with prize money of 4,000 euros, donated by Actemium BEA GmbH, LEAG, Rotec Bürotechnik GmbH and the Kjellberg Foundation. In addition, the selected finalists have the opportunity to participate in a pitch coaching financed by BPW (Businessplan-Wettbewerb Berlin-Brandenburg), which is carried out by Selbst Ständig Wachsen Unternehmer Coaching GmbH.
The innofab_ ideas contest is a regional competition for science and a joint initiative of TH Wildau and BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg through the projects Innovation Hub 13, Startup Revier EAST as well as the Startup Center and the startup service of the universities.
