SUMMARY:Conference of the LEADER cooperation project "Age-Friendly Housing Adaptation
DESCRIPTION:The event will present the results and findings of the cross-state project, focusing in particular on the effectiveness and possibilities of housing counseling. The current and future importance of the topic and the need for action will be highlighted in order to further strengthen the participation of people with disabilities. The following schedule is planned for the event:\nFrom 9.30 a.m.: Admission/arrival of the participants\n 	Opening/welcome (representatives of the districts of Nordsachsen & Elbe-Elster) 	Presentation and results of the project (project staff BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg) 	Anchoring of the housing counseling - similarities and differences in Brandenburg and Saxony (social planners of both districts) 	"Living in old age" in rural development (regional managers of the Local Action Groups (LAG) Dübener Heide and Elbe-Elster) 	Practical examples and perspectives from the districts of Elbe-Elster and Nordsachsen (housing advisors from the districts of Elbe-Elster and Nordsachsen) 	Moderated question and answer session and open exchange 	Joint outlook \n13.30 h: End of the event
