Lucia Allais on “UNESCO and the Decolonization of Heritage”

Second talk in the lecture series “Heritage and History. Critical Engagements” on Tuesday, 4 May 2021, 7pm

In her talk in the lecture series, architectural historian Lucia Allais will focus on the history of heritage conservation and museum design in the wake of the decolonization of heritage and its redefinition as part of a global culture. Lucia Allais is Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP) at Columbia University New York and author of Designs of Destruction: The Making of Monuments in the Twentieth Century, Chicago University Press 2018.
