Innovation-oriented Organisation of Work and the Workplace

Companies are required to constantly change their forms of organisation in order to adapt on changes in their environment. Due to changes in production processes or the range of services and products offered  internal company relationships and relationships to suppliers and customers are subject to scrutiny in the search for flexible solutions to new and emerging problems. This ability to adapt to change is a key factor for business success and for the long-term survival of the company and its workforce.

The way work is organised in a company, the amount of leeway for action and decision-making company employees have in their everyday working lives, and the way creative work is supported on the organisational and technical level are all crucial factors in the realisation of the ability to master change and thus also play a decisive role in the generation of innovation.
