What is the goal of this course?

The goal of this course is to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in a German-language university program.

To achieve this goal, the course prepares you for the linguistic challenges of academic, professional, and everyday life with a task-based and learner-focused approach, facilitating learner autonomy, mediation skills and intercultural competence.

You will learn to express your life experiences in German! Grammar is not just drilled, but embedded in real-life situations, to be discovered by you. This guarantees you lasting learning success and enables you to progress quickly.

We support your specific, individual language learning needs in lessons and self-study sessions with flexible and individual prioritization and tutorials with teaching assistants.

Conversation classes in small groups with our teaching assistants will give you the opportunity to immediately apply and playfully consolidate what you have learned.
Knowledge about the region, the city, and the university, and, of course, contacts with locals are crucial for a successful start to your academic life and integration.

In projects and social activities, you can research relevant information about the university, the city, and discover the country and its people step by step.

A motivated team of faculty and teaching assistants will help you achieve your goals.

Your success is our success!
