The welcome event for newly appointed professors takes place in the autumn every year. As a newly appointed professor or junior professor at BTU, you will be introduced to the various players at BTU, will have procedures explained to you and will have answers to the many questions you undoubtedly have, over a shared breakfast. Where possible, the university management team will be on hand to help with this process. You will also have the opportunity to make contact and exchange ideas, information and experiences with other newly appointed university teaching staff in an informal environment.
In addition, during the course of the day, representatives from the Brandenburg Teaching Quality Network will tell you about the support they provide - current professional development information is available here.
Forthcoming events: The date announced for October 5, 2020 has unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the Corona pandemic.
