Mohammad Ravankhah
Mohammad Ravankhah erhielt den B.Sc. in Architektur der University of Kashan, Iran, und den M.Sc. in Post- Katastrophen Rekonstruktion der Shahid Behashti University in Tehran, Iran. Während seines Studiums arbeitete er an Projekten wie der Rehabilitation der historischen Altstadt von Kashan und der Restaurierung des historischen Bazaars von Qom. Im Jahr 2012 begann er sein Doktorat an der BTU International Graduate School: Heritage Studies. Seine Doktorarbeit trägt den Titel "Earthquake Disaster Risk Assessment for Cultural World Heritage Sites: The Case of Bam and its Cultural Landscape" ("Katastrophenrisiko-bewertung für Erbeben bei kulturelle Welterbestätten am Beispiel on Bam und seiner Kulturlandschaft"). Seine Forschugsinteressen liegen im allgemeinen in den Bereichen: Katastrophenrisikobewerung und -managment für kulturelles Erbe, Heritage Impact Assessment und die Abschätzung von Klimawandelfolgen für Kulturgüter. Derzeit ist er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Umweltplanung der BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg tätig.
