WHS Lunch Lectures Series starts Feb. 11

In the seminar the nuts and bolts of the COTTCOP simulation, their merits, and the variations which have been implemented so far will be explained.

limate negotiations and decision-making require diplomats and negotiators to have an in-depth knowledge of geopolitics, trade, security, and foreign relations. However, they also require a certain commitment towards our future generations and an understanding of the perils of inaction. Who can do this task better than today's BTU ERM students? As they embark on their journey to represent their respective NGOs, Countries, CSOs, and youth organizations, we equip them with the necessary information, provide support before and during the negotiations, and facilitate breakout sessions to tackle any disagreements which might lead to a climate catastrophe.

In the 1-hour seminar the nuts and bolts of the COTTCOP simulation (Cottbus Conference of Parties - adapted from the Paris Agreement), their merits, and the variations which have been implemented so far will be explained.
