SUMMARY:Antrittsvorlesungen in der Fakultät 1 –MINT: Apl. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christine Ruffert und Apl. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ireneusz Jabłoński
DESCRIPTION:Mikrosensoren – von der Entwicklung zur Anwendung - Apl. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ireneusz Jabłoński\nImprovements in measurement methodologies and instrumentation enable exploration of more and more complex systems. Monitoring and management of complex systems and processes is also a subject of vital interest to modern industry (e.g. pharmacology and healthcare, manufacturing, IT) and society, and includes various physical fields. The physics of complex systems also inspires scientists and engineers to mimic objects and processes evolving in nature, leading e.g., to the formulation of various modalities of artificial intelligence. The term “complexity” still needs to be clearly defined, but research to date enables the opening of new theoretical directions of fundamental meaning, but also with practical consequences. The lecture will present the research portfolio developed in MNS chair, including measurement methodologies, instrumentation, and physical-mathematical modeling of complex systems in interdisciplinary applications, e.g. to the development of a cyber-physical system concept.\n\n
