SUMMARY:»How to write ERC and Marie-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship proposals« (in English)
DESCRIPTION:Within the EU, European Research Council (ERC) grants have been awarded to support excellent scientists and their research ideas for nearly 20 years. Another EU funding line, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA-PF), enables postdoctoral researchers to conduct their scientific projects at excellent research institutions outside of their home countries. Both ERC Grants and MSCA-PFs are widely acknowledged as some of the best instruments for career development both at the European and international level. In this seminar, we will focus on the programme requirements, as well as strategies for writing a successful proposal. Specifically, we will examine the proposal template and provide tips and examples for research-related topics including gender dimensions in research, research data management, and open science. Lastly, we will discuss some of the most common mistakes made by applicants.\nPresenters: Allison Thompson and Dr Patrick Hoffmann, Unit for Research Funding\nLink for registration
