Alkalisches Polyol-Pulping (AlkaPolP™-Verfahren)

In Zusammenarbeit mit Industriepartnern wurde ein Aufschlußverfahren für lignocellulosehaltige Biomasse entwickelt, das in diesem Forschungsschwerpunkt in seinen Prozeßstufen detailliert untersucht und optimiert wird. Dazu gehört auch die Entwicklung  geeigneter Verfahren zur Konversion der erhaltenen Produktfraktionen (Zucker, Cellulose und Lignin) in vermarktbare Produkte, u.a. für Biokraftstoffe der zweiten Generation.
