Learning Outcome:This module trains the students on enhancing their skills of analysing historic buildings and structures in order to consider their values and map out strategies regarding planning for historic buildings and building in context.
Contents:There are two separate lecture series, the one providing basic knowledge about preservation of historic buildings and the other examples for different strategies regarding planning for historic buildings and in historic context.

The presented methods in the field of architectural conservation are then discussed in seminar and exercise.
