Contents: | The seminar highlights recent topics in the field of experimental urban design. Spatial, sociocultural, ecological and economic conditions are taken into account. Based on concrete urban situations and best practice projects, students are sensitized to architectural and urban planning aspects (urban structures, relationships between buildings and urban spaces, address formation, etc.). Research, analysis and design methods as well as presentation techniques are taught in exercises that build on one another. Through varied formats and media (literature, drawings, models, photographs, videos, etc.) creative processes are initiated and conceptual approaches are encouraged. |
