Learning Outcome: | Transdisciplinary skills in the architectural analysis, documentation and evaluation in terms of architectural conservation of historic fabric and structure; ability to express and work on scientific questions in the field of monument preservation; ability to work scientifically and independently and to transfer theoretical approaches into practical aspects. |
Contents: | Specific case studies within the fields of the history of architecture are examined in scientific and interdisciplinary manner with regard to aspects of architectural conservation. The assessment of the cultural significance of historical sites shall be practised. Aim is to examine specific architectural elements or changes to a building which relate to the cultural significance of a site. |
