| Learning Outcome: | The students are able to reproduce and carry out operating and work processes within a power supply system on their own. They have detailed knowledge of switching operations and their sequences without interrupting the electrical power supply and to evaluate switching states according to the (n-1) criterion and to establish this. |
| Contents: | Theoretical part:
- Grid components
- Control systems
- Operation control of power systems
- Security of supply
- Stability of the system
- Power-frequency control
- One-day excursion to substation and power plant
Practical part (individual training and team training):
- Detailed introduction into the training system
- Introduction in handling the control system
- Complex switching operations
- Training on simulation scenarios (for undisturbed and disturbed operation)
- Training of communication processes between system operators
