Learning Outcome:
  • The students learn fundamental concepts of cryptographic protocols.
  • They enhance their knowledge on the various methods applied in cryptpgraphic protocols.
  • They are enabled to apply these methods in practice.
Contents:Fundamental cryptographic protocols, zero-knowledge methods, multiparty communications, anonymity, key exchange protocols, attacks on protocols

Recommended Prerequisites:Knowledge of the contents of modules
  • 11859 : Cryptography
  • 11889 : Introduction into Cyber Security

Assessment Mode for Module Examination:Prerequisite:
  • Successful treatment of all assigned project tasks including successful presentation of the results
Final module examination:
  • Written examination, 90 min. OR
  • Oral examination, 30-45 min. (with small number of participants)
In the first lecture it will be anounced, if the examination will be offered in written or oral form.
