Contents: | The lectures will focus on a number of carefully chosen areas of agricultural resources management, which will be further contextualised in the seminars, where students will have the opportunity to engage more closely with specific topics and themes from international and comparative perspectives. Key lecture topics - Sustainable agriculture and food security - Protection of water resources from agricultural over-use and pollution (pesticides and phosphorous) - Agriculture, land use and biodiversity protection - Agriculture and climate change (livestock production, soils, forestry, mitigation and adaptation) Seminars topics to be announced in class. |
