Learning Outcome: | After successful completion of the module the students are able to: - display scientific content/data as a poster presentation (generation of the poster) - presentation of scientific content/data as a poster presentation - presentation of scientific content/data as a scientific short talk (20min) |
Contents: | The oral presentation of scientific content and current research data is an important aspect in the life sciences and related studies. In this module the students learn about the different forms of scientfic presentation, namely poster presentation and short talks. Therefore, the students prepare a scientific poster and present the data/figures displayed there in oral form. Furthermore, the students prepare a scientific short talk which is presented in front of the whole course. We will discuss the presentation of the data (display) as well as the presentation style. |
Recommended Prerequisites: | Studies in biotechnology, chemistry or something similar or high school degree with biologie or chemistry. |
