Learning Outcome: | The student can independently and critically deal with a problem of a theoretical or applied nature in the field of transformation studies within a set deadline, and propose scientifically founded solutions in this regard. They are able to present the results of their academic work in front of an audience, to recognise interrelationships in a specific research area and to respond to questions that may arise in this context. |
Contents: | The Master’s examination consists of the written thesis and an oral examination. The topic of the Master’s thesis is to be agreed upon by the candidate and a thesis supervisor from BTU. The student has the right to propose a thesis topic. This must be related to the choosen field of spefication (socio-cultural, socio-economic and -institutional, socio-technical). |
Recommended Prerequisites: | None |
Mandatory Prerequisites: | Students who have completed at least 72 LP in the Master Transformation Studies program at the time of registration can be admitted to the Master's thesis. The achievements must include the successful completion of at least two compulsory modules (see study and examination regulations) as well as the module Study Project. |
