Learning Outcome:

After completing the module, students will be able to understand the guidelines and practices of heritage conservation and critically analyse their application in various contexts. They will have a broad theoretical and methodological repertoire that will enable them to formulate scientific questions in the field of heritage conservation and work on them independently.

Contents:

The module deals in depth with various topics, problems and/or current issues from the broad spectrum of heritage conservation, including from an international perspective. These are presented and discussed in the participants' own scientifically and methodologically ambitious contributions, partly on the basis of specific case studies.

Recommended Prerequisites:

MO 14395 or 14396 successfully completed

Module Examination:Continuous Assessment (MCA)

  • Presentation – 30% of final grade
  • Essay, 4000 – 5000 words – 70% of final grade
