| Learning Outcome: | After participating in the module, students will be able to acquire detailed knowledge on current research questions and developments in the field of polymer science, including synthesis, characterization, processing, and application of new polymer types and formulations from review articles and other sources, and to critically evaluate reports in the scientific literature. Students will be able to fully comprehend and reproduce described novel concepts based on available sources and classify them according to their significance for the respective research field. Through the module content, students will acquire comprehensive knowledge of modern synthesis methods and analysis techniques. |

| Recommended Prerequisites: | Fundamentals in organic chemistry and polymer chemistry, basic knowledge of fundamental polymerization methods and analysis techniques. |
