  • Linear, Straight Timoshenko Beam Element
  • Galerkin-weighted Residual and Variational Principles
  • “Standard” and “Hierarchical” Element Shape Functions
  • Shear Deformable Plate Element, Locking
  • Variational Formulation of Finite Elements
  • Alternative Finite Element Formulations
  • Error Estimation and Adaptivity
Recommended Prerequisites:11144 (MM1), 23427 (MM3)
