Learning Outcome:Students will get a knowledge about construction, operation and calculation of plants for heat transfer in boilers, condensers and preheaters. They will learn the design of heat exchangers generally and for special cases in the practices.
Contents:Heat conduction, convection, radiation, heat transition, Fourier's law of conduction, fins, natural or forced convection, film boiling, radiation on technical surfaces, multi-phase systems, construction of heat exchanger in power engineering (preheater, de-aerator, evaporation, condensation, re-cooling, drying systems, mixing systems)
