Online Master's Course „Active Structures”

In the summer term in cooperation with the University of Tokyo

Today's form-finding approaches, materials, and technologies enable the design and construction of resource-minimized ultra-lightweight and convertible structures. However, as a result of the ongoing reduction of structural weight, the sensitivity of structures to varying loads is increasing. To solve this challenge, current developments aim at actively influencing the structural response to arbitrary external loads.

Getting curious? In the summer term, the course will be offered for the first time in English and in cooperation with the University of Tokyo.
