They ensure our security on campus. We give them a friendly nod of welcome in the morning. But who is actually in the Securitas uniform? From working on Christmas Eve, lockdown on campus to the favorite season: here are the answers.

Cross your heart, which is worse: working on Christmas Eve or on New Year's Eve? Why?
The least popular day for me is definitely December 24, because my family has to spend Christmas Eve at home without me. There is nothing going on campus and so it is always a very quiet working day.

How did you feel during the lockdown at work - did you miss the students and staff or did you rather enjoy the peace and quiet?
A short rest period was okay. Nevertheless, in the end it became too lifeless and monotonous. I sometimes thought I was the only person on the whole campus. I missed the students and staff - and all the hustle and bustle.

What do you particularly like about your work?
The team spirit.

What is your favorite season and why?
I like spring best, because that is when the gardening season begins after the winter break. My colleagues and BTU employees are also in a better mood and are more motivated.

What do you wish for the New Year?
Health and a foreseeable end to the Corona pandemic.

White Christmas or rain - what is your tip?
White Christmas would finally be appropriate. In the past years, it was much too mild and rainy on these days. However, I am afraid that it will be the same again in 2020.
