Development of an innovation axis Berlin-Lausitz
Signed by 35 personalities from politics, business and research - including BTU President Prof. Dr. Gesine Grande - the pilot project, initiated and developed within the framework of the Berlin-Brandenburg Future Forum, envisages, among other things, increasing growth opportunities in the metropolitan region with the support of science and research, providing future-oriented impetus and jointly counteracting demographic change by training and recruiting skilled workers.
The President of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, Prof. Dr. Gesine Grande, commented: "As the scientific center of structural change in Lusatia, the BTU is enthusiastic about the potential of the Berlin-Lusatia innovation axis and is committed to supporting this project." She is looking forward to the development of the Lusatia Science Park with many actors from science and industry - a project that is being developed in close cooperation with Adlershof and thus already sends a signal in the direction of the Berlin-Lusatia innovation axis.
