BTU Matching Day

On Wednesday, 15.11.2023, the BTU Matching Day will once again take place in virtual form from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. With 105 employers, a record number of companies have registered with the aim of getting to know students and alumni of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. Internships and working student positions as well as thesis topics and positions for graduates are on offer.

Specifically, the Matching Day works as follows:

  1. Students and graduates register register on the matching platform and create a short personal profile.
  2. In the run-up to the event, students and graduates can visit the platform
    - view company profiles,
    - view specific job advertisements,
    - request appointments for introductory meetings with employers. If the interest is mutual, a video call lasting a maximum of 20 minutes will take place on 15.11.2023 via the matching platform.
  3. Employers also have the opportunity to view the posted participant profiles and invite students or graduates to an interview on Matching Day.

The supporting program of the Matching Day 2023 also includes:

  • Application portfolio checks,
  • advice on career guidance and job searches throughout Germany,
  • advice on finding a job in the state of Brandenburg and
  • info sessions on the international Kulturweit volunteer service.

The companies, students and graduates will be welcomed by the BTU President, Prof. Grande, and the Manager of the Brandenburg Economic Development Corporation, Dr. Kammradt, at the start of the event.
