WIRE’s MC Meeting & 5th Working Groups Workshop

We are pleased to invite you to Istanbul, the unique city where continents meet, for the upcoming WIRE’s MC Meeting & 5th Working Groups Workshop scheduled to take place in Turkey on April 18-19, 2024. This event is organized in collaboration with Hacettepe University, Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Yıldız Technical University (YTU) and TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM). The first day of the WIRE’s MC Meeting & 5th Working Groups Workshop will feature meetings at ITU Ayazaga Campus. On the second day, the meetings will be held at the Marmara Research Center Campus of TÜBİTAK, and the participants will have the opportunity to visit related research laboratories in the TUBİTAK Campus. Keynote presentations about Turkey’s and Europe’s first carbon-negative integrated biorefinery and biogas production in the mega city of Istanbul’s WWTP and solid waste sites towards sustainability will be shared. We have planned sessions to enhance the networking opportunities of the participants during the workshop. Please save the dates and mark your calendars for April 18-19, 2024.
