Kultur-Campus Sachsendorf - for peaceful coexistence full of diversity and great music

For the second time, the festival aims to bring together residents from Cottbus and the surrounding area with students from all study programmes.

A varied program put together by students on the Social Work and Instrumental and Vocal Performance and Teaching study programmes awaits all those who wish to attend. BTU President Prof. Gesine Grande and Lord Mayor Tobias Schick will open the campus festival at 3:30 pm. The "Collegium Musicum" orchestra will kick things off with musical delights and many other bands will provide the best entertainment in the afternoon and evening. Bands from the "Instrumental and Vocal Performance and Teaching" study program, "Commander Jules", "KrashKarma", "Inge & Heinz" and the big highlight from 10.30 pm "100 Kilo Herz" will be performing.

This year's Campusfest aims to provide a counterpoint to the growing political disenchantment. It will be a festival full of community, diversity and music, with which the students and the Bürgerverein Sachsendorf/Madlow e.V. want to strengthen the basic democratic idea - in the super election year 2024, just before the European elections on June 9.

Dancing, laughter and music make the campus a place where people of different generations and from different parts of the city can meet and get to know each other. They can exchange ideas with students and discover different cultures. Guests can expect exciting, creative activities for young and old, organized by the social network of the Sachsendorf/Madlow district. The festival is supported by companies and institutions such as Gebäudewirtschaft Cottbus GmbH, Velero Management GmbH and the federal, state and municipal funding program "Sozialer Zusammenhalt durch Bund, Land und Kommunale.
