Short-notice maintenance work on the data network (eduroam Wi-Fi)

Tuesday, August 11, 2026, between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

Due to maintenance work, data communication on the eduroam Wi-Fi may be disrupted during the above-mentioned time period.

Specifically, this affects the following buildings:

  • Main Campus: Energy Center, FZ3H, Soil Mechanics Laboratory, Cafeteria
  • Sachsendorf Campus: all buildings
  • Senftenberg Campus: Buildings 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 14, 15, 16, and 20
  • Bad Saarow Branch Campus

Wired data communication is not affected.

The purpose of this work is a security update that must be performed on specific technical components of the BTU’s Wi-Fi system at short notice.

We are making every effort to keep the downtime as short as possible for each individual area during the time window mentioned above.
