The self-sufficient 5G network of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) has been in operation since spring 2024 and can be used free of charge by regional companies. A 5G Day on Wednesday, 22 January 2025, will provide information about the many possibilities of this network for business partners.

Students in concert

From 16 to 18 January 2025, Studierendenwerk Ost:Brandenburg is inviting the student cabaret scene to Cottbus for the 27th time. It will be the last of its kind and so numerous companions from previous years will be making their way to the festival stages in January to present themselves and celebrate a festival of humour and satire.

Prof. Daria Gorelova (Chair of Computational Materials Modelling) and Prof. Ivan Ndip (Chair of Antennas and Radio Frequency Systems Integration) will give their inaugural lectures. All interested parties are cordially invited to this event.

Online seminar for interested scientists

The next lecture in the IBK lecture series will take place on Tuesday, 14 January 2025. The Chair of Architectural Theory will welcome Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christoph Schnoor from the Unitec Institute of Technology in Auckland for his guest lecture at 7 p.m. in lecture theatre A of the main campus Cottbus. Interested parties are cordially invited to attend.

The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus - Senftenberg invites educators (teachers, social educators, principals) to an online symposium on 14 January 2025 on 'Effective strategies for dealing with hate speech in schools'.
