February 15 is a day of remembrance in Cottbus for the horrors and destructive power of World War II. Many people lost their lives, several thousand Cottbus residents and refugees lost their homes and possessions when large parts of the city were reduced to rubble by bombs shortly before the end of the war.

The BTU Self-Help Bicycle Workshop will open its doors weekly again in January 2023! In the basement of LG10 every Tuesday from 15:30 - 18:00 students, faculty and external people can repair their bikes alone or with the help of the people on site.
