Just like all university employees, interested people from the region will again have the opportunity to be enchanted by the Christmas flair on the Senftenberg campus of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 13 and 14, 2022, between 4 and 10 pm.

Vanessa Debiais-Sainton, Head of the European Higher Education Policy and Programs Unit of the European Commission, participated in the EUNICE Jean Monnet Workshop, which was also attended by representatives of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU).

Students of the EUNICE partner universities, which include Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, can now register for the courses of their choice on the EUNICE website.

With the signing of the founding statutes, the European University Alliance EUNICE, to which Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg also belongs, officially becomes an institution.

The 2021 Teaching Award was given to two modules, both of which bridge the gap between the university and the working world in an innovative and excellent way.

On November 10, 2022, the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Peer Schmidt, handed over as part of this year's Day of Teaching at the BTU. Two prizes, each endowed with 2,500 euros 2,500 each were awarded: to the module Key Qualifications for Everyday Professional Life (DURCHSTARTEN) and to the module Professional Field Seminar module.

The first official act of the new Lord Mayor of the city of Cottbus, Tobias Schick, was to choose the public's favorite of the "Rediscover Cottbus/Chóśebuz" photo competition. The picture with the BTU successor bus did not win, but now hangs for a year in the hallway outside the Lord Mayor's office.
